Aisha Tyler is an American actor, TV host, author director and producer. She has been recognized for her performance as Andrea Marino, in the horror film Ghost Whisperer and for portraying Mother Nature in Santa Clause. She is also recognized for providing her voice to the character of Lana Kane in the series Archer. Tyler's previous experience as a host has included CBS The Talk. She also hosted Ubisoft's E3 media conferences from 2012 through the year 2016. The roles she played in video games include a variety of roles. Tyler was the daughter of Robin Gregory, a teacher and James Tyler, a photographer. She was a student at Dartmouth College. Tyler co-founded the all-female Dartmouth Rockapellas acappella group that created awareness of social issues via music. Tyler can also be found as a frequent contributor to Jane, Glamour and other magazines. Coming to her personal life the divorce of her parents occurred when at a young age and she was brought up with her dad. Her parents are born of Native American and African American descent which explains her exotic appearance. She was previously married to attorney Jeff Tietjens.
